Brief Profile of the Company:

Bheema Fine Chemicals Private Limited was incorporated on 22.07.2020, with its registered office at Plot no3, Sagar Society, Road No 2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Limited (BCIL), a company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
BCIL has participated in the Invest – Karnataka Conference held in Hubballi in February 2020 and exchanged an MOU in the presence of Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka in connection with setting up the agrochemical unit in Kadechur Industrial Area. An application has been made to KUM for approval of the project and allotment of land which was approved by the government in its SLSWCC meeting held on March 24, 2020. On June 24, 2020, the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has communicated approval for allotment of 33.90 acres of land in the name of BCIL and further confirmatory letter of allotment dated September 24, 2020 was issued.
 
In view of the corporate tax benefits made available to the newly incorporated companies, the Board of Directors of BCIL decided that the proposed plant in Kadechur would be set up in the name of its subsidiary company. Thus Bheema Fine Chemicals Private Limited was incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of BCIL to augment the production capacities of the parent company. On an application made to Karnataka Udyog Mitra, the approval of allotment of land has been transferred in the name of Bheema Fine Chemicals Private Limited comprising of contiguous plot nos 137 to 149 and 151 to 157 in a rectangular contour measuring 519.75 x 264.50 Meters in dimension. The possession certificate dated December 19, 2020 was issued and possession of the land was taken by Bheema fine Chemicals Private Limited.

Sri. S. Chandrasekhar

Sri S. Chandra Sekhar is a Chemical Engineer holding B.Tech degree with distinction from Osmania University and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has over eight years of experience in the synthesis of speciality chemicals and design of chemical plants. He has worked as R&D Manager of the company from 28-09-2002 to 31-03-2006. Sri S. Chandra Sekhar is the Managing Director of the Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Limited wef 1st June 2012. He has acquired expertise in the areas of Governance & Compliance; and Information Technology.

Sri. A. Arvind Kumar

He was appointed on the Board of Bheema Fine Chemicals as one of the representatives of Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Limited (BCIL), the holding company. He has been associated with BCIL since 2014. He was earlier the Chief Executive Officer of BCIL and holds a Masters’ degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras. Prior to that he was the executive director of JC Biotech Pvt. Ltd, another group company since 2007 and was involved in the design and commissioning of Fermentation Plant of JC Biotech. Mr Arvind about 13 years of hands on experience in all the facets of agrochemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.

Sri. G.S.V. Krishna Rao

Sri G.S.V Krishna Rao, aged 65 years, Mr. Krishna Rao is an Independent and Non-Executive Director on the Board of Bhagiradha Chemicals and Industries Limited since November 2018. He is a graduate in commerce and a Fellow Member of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance. He has over three decades of experience in Industrial and Corporate Banking with a public sector bank and was formerly a General Manager in a public sector bank.

Dr G. Aruna

(Non-Executive Woman Independent Director)

Dr G. Aruna, completed her B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad 1983 (first class with distinction) and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1987. She completed her Ph.D. in Chem. Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1993.
She has a professional experience of more than 27 years in Engineers India Limited (21 years 3 months) and SABIC Research and Technology Pvt Ltd (3 years 5 months). Further, she has over 21 years of consultancy experience (post Ph.D.) in Process Design of Refinery Units, upstream of Petrochemical Industries, Oil and Gas Installations, Utilities and off-sites, Effluent Treatment Plants, HSE, Safety Studies (viz., HAZOP, Risk Analysis), Research and Development.
